Real surgeons not really plastic…
Yep, its time I updated you all with what happened when I went to see the plastic surgeon (he was a real one not plastic after all 
) …
Well it seems that the operation I’m facing has a couple of choices not just the one I was told about , it seems that they can also take some muscle from the thigh (quadricep) although there is a slighty greater chance of it failing… theres a 2% chance of failure with the stomach muscle and a 5% chance if they use the thigh muscle… but on the flip side of that there is a better chance of a better recovery… it seems the thigh muscle will recover and compensate better where-as the stomach muscle will never grow back the same and could lead to other complications further down the line … weakness of the stomach wall means its easier to get hernias in the future… so as I have good strong leg muscles (they have to be carrying this weight around … I have asked that he looks at using the leg muscle first, of course as always there no guarantee that he can or will use it but he has agreed to look at it first, and as Dr (Mr) Ross is one of the best in Christies I’m more than happy to bow to his better knowledge… and even if he hasn’t published anything in a while from the papers I’ve found he is very highly regarded in his field … but to be fair I expect nothing less than the best from Christies and they haven’t let me down yet
On the home front nothing much has changed… one of my little brothers has passed his driving test and got himself a little run around motor to build his no claims bonus up … so WELL DONE Craig … theres another driver for people coming to see me … I have a new computer but its taking me forever to sort out my old one and get everything off it but I hope to have it hooked up soon… my beautiful wife has had a birthday HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY! and thats about all really …
